Hello sweet, darling readers!
Just wanted to pop in for a brief hello, while I continue to work on some blog posts that won’t be ready for a while.
I went back to the Hansa Center in Wichita, Kansas for my third round of treatment mid January, and that week was when my whole life changed. Seriously. I’ve been feeling like a new person recently, and I’ve experienced big shifts in my health. I’m not completely symptom free yet, because how I feel still varies day to day, but I’m close!! Some days I feel better than I’ve felt in a decade. I know I’m so close. I can feel it.
Since my trip, I’ve been doing a mixture of 1) radical self-care, self-love and rest while keeping up with my treatment protocol, and 2) trying to catch up on all the life I’ve missed out on for so many years. I’ve also recently been in contact with a lot of other young Lyme warriors, and I’m regularly keeping in touch and walking along side others who have been on a similar path.
For the first time in years, waking up in the morning is pleasant and relatively pain free. I feel hopeful about my future and I feel like I’m making a positive impact on the world, even if it is small. I have so much to write and share, but unfortunately, not enough time at the moment, as A) I’m preparing for an upcoming trip and B) my magical, divine experience with biological medicine at the Hansa Center is difficult to put into words!
If you’re curious to know more about how I’m doing and what I’m up to, check me out on Instagram at @lindsey_koz where I post more regularly… or if you don’t have an Instagram account, check out my recent pictures on the feed on the right side of this page, and click on them to read the captions.
Sending love, health and healing to all,
